Moonglow’s founder, Victoria, asked herself the same question. For years, she searched, tested, compared formulas and read about ingredients. Until she found the answer in the place where skincare has become both an art and a science: South Korea.
In 2017, she brought this discovery home. That’s how Moonglow, the first specialized Korean cosmetics chain in the Republic of Moldova, was born. Back then, K-beauty was almost unknown here. Today, it’s a daily ritual for hundreds of thousands of women.

Moonglow is the official distributor of Korean cosmetics in the Republic of Moldova. We have 48 brands under exclusive distribution, including d'Alba, Dr.Ceuracle, SKIN1004, Medicube, ma:nyo, Mary&May, Purito Seoul, dear Klairs, Pyunkang Yul, Rovectin, Heimish, Mizon, Real Barrier and Dermafirm. We officially distribute another 34 brands, among them Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Anua, TIRTIR, Round Lab, Biodance and VT Cosmetics.
In total, Moonglow carries over 140 brands from 13 countries, including South Korea, Japan, the USA, France, Italy, the UK and Australia. All quality certificates are sent at the customer's request.
Thousands of sellers operate on marketplaces, and no one can verify where a product was bought, how it was stored or how it was shipped. Expired batches are sometimes relabeled with a new expiry date, and counterfeits are sold as originals.
At Moonglow, you pay for peace of mind: original products, imported directly, shipped and stored properly. You also pay for the people who advise you and for taxes that stay in Moldova. A conscious choice is good for your skin and for your country.

- Professional skin analysis with a special analyzer, so you know exactly what your skin needs.
- Scalp analysis with the SIF Pro device, for hair care tailored to you.
- Free consultations, in store and online, from specialists our customers lovingly call the “Moonglow Angels”. Every 3 months, the team completes training on new ingredients, ingredient combinations and new brands.
- Caring for nature: bring in an empty package for recycling and get an extra 3% off.
Online, with a gift in every order
On moonglow.md, you can order original Korean cosmetics with delivery in 24–36 hours in Chisinau and 2–3 days across the rest of Moldova. In 2025 alone, we delivered 48,567 online orders. Each one left in beautiful packaging with a gift inside, because unboxing is part of the ritual too.
Trust isn't something you ask for. It's something you prove every day. Here's what we do to earn it:
You know us by name.
Behind Moonglow there's no anonymous corporation, but a person. Our founder, Victoria, publicly stands behind every product on our shelves. If something isn't right, you can write to her directly.
We choose brands based on science, not packaging.
A brand only makes it to Moonglow after we've checked its safety certificates, clinical studies and in-house research labs. Trends come second.
We choose people, not just products.
We also look at who stands behind each brand. We believe a founder's values show in the product: in an honest formula, ethical production and respect for your skin.
We protect every product on its way to you.
Active ingredients are delicate. Vitamin C, for example, oxidizes at the wrong temperature. That's why we monitor the conditions in which our products are transported. Our warehouse is always kept at 21–22 °C, so every serum and cream stays effective down to the last drop.
We use what we sell.
Moonglow's founder uses the products from our shelves every day. We'd never recommend anything we wouldn't put on our own skin.
